COVINGTON – St. Tammany Health System has been recognized 21 times in the 2026 Best of St. Tammany Awards, which were decided by readers of The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com and the St. Tammany Farmer, the publications announced Saturday (June 21).
The array of categories in which the health system was recognized this year include Best Hospital and Best Place to Have a Baby (both for St. Tammany Parish Hospital), Best Cancer Treatment Center (St. Tammany Cancer Center – A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center) and Best Pharmacy (STHS Pharmacy at Braswell’s).
The 2026 honors mark the second year of the Best of St. Tammany Awards program and represent an increase from the 18 awards St. Tammany Health System received in 2025. As with last year, first-, second- and third-place vote-getters in each category were recognized with gold-, silver- and bronze-level awards, respectively.
“These awards are especially meaningful because they come directly from the community we are privileged to serve,” St. Tammany Health System President and CEO Joan Coffman said. “That sort of community trust is earned one patient and one interaction at a time. It is also reflective of the compassion, skill and dedication our colleagues, physicians and volunteers bring to families every day across the Northshore.”
