As part of its mission to treat the whole patient, St. Tammany Cancer Center – A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center, hosts free monthly classes on a variety of topics for diagnosed cancer patients, from meditation to tai chi to music therapy and more.
Find the latest calendar of events and class descriptions below. (Please note: Due to ongoing work at the cancer center, this month’s classes will be held at the Covington YMCA, which is located at 75216 Francis Road.)

Located at the intersection of Interstate 12 and Louisiana Highway 21, St. Tammany Cancer was built in 2021 in Covington as a partnership between St. Tammany Health System and Ochsner. In June 2023, a separate partnership between Ochsner and MD Anderson Cancer Center added the world-renowned expertise of MD Anderson to the center.
