Parenting doesn't come with a handbook, but St. Tammany Health System’s Parenting Center is hoping to make the journey a little easier with a free class designed to help families build healthier, more connected relationships.
The “Parenting with Love and Limits” class – set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital -- is open to parents, grandparents and guardians of children of all ages and will focus on practical strategies for setting healthy boundaries while strengthening communication and connection at home. Participants will learn ways to balance structure with support, encourage positive behavior and navigate everyday parenting challenges with confidence and compassion.
The class is free and open to both St. Tammany Health System colleagues and community members.
