With Tropical Storm Francine expected to make landfall Wednesday evening in central-south Louisiana, St. Tammany Health System has announced the following temporary changes to its operating hours:
Wednesday, Sept. 11Emergency services: All of the health system’s emergency services, including at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington and the standalone Emergency Department in Mandeville, are open 24 hours a day every day. As always, they will remain open around the clock through the storm.Primary care and specialty clinics: All of STHS’s primary care and specialty clinics will close Wednesday at noon, with resumption of normal business hours expected Thursday morning.Outpatient clinics: All of STHS’s diagnostic clinics, including the Cordes Outpatient Pavilion and the Mandeville Diagnostic Center, will close Wednesday at 1 p.m., with resumption of normal business hours expected Thursday morning.Valet and shuttle services: Valet and shuttle services expect to be under normal operations, weather permitting. St. Tammany Health System Pharmacy at Braswell’s and Employee Pharmacy: The Employee Pharmacy and Braswell’s will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with resumption of normal business hours expected Thursday morning.
