He completed his residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at East Tennessee State University -; James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Health System. He is board certified in: Internal medicine, Cardiovascular diseases, Interventional cardiology and Endovascular Medicine He Is also Board certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology, and Endovascular Ultrasound
