Grandparents: Getting Started (Helping to Take Care of Your Grandchildren)

Designed by the Safesitter organization to prepare grandparents to provide the best and safest care for their grandchildren. They will also learn the latest information on how to safely care for infants and children, how to manage the behavior of children of all ages, how to do the life-saving skills of CPR, choking and first aid and injury management. Participants will practice skills on manikins on the floor and tables and will each receive a participant book.
