Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course teaches First aid basics; Preventing illness and injury; Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, how to relieve chocking, and AED use.   This course is not the course you need for nursing school, dental school or any medical field or First Responder - you need the BLS or Basic Life Support certification, which we can also help you with.  Please call us at 985-898-4435 or email us at parentingcenter@stph.org if you have any questions.
