Visiting St. Tammany Health System

Balancing patient safety with compassion.

While the world-class healthcare providers at St. Tammany Health System work hard to tend to the physical and emotional needs of our patients, we also recognize the emotional lift patients get from visits with their friends and family.

That’s why we encourage visits, but with certain, sensible ground rules to ensure that the varied, overall needs of all of our patients are being met.

For example: Our facility is tobacco-free, with no exceptions. Visitors should avoid making unnecessary noise. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Visitors with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases are not allowed.

Below, find additional information regarding our visitation policy, which is subject to change as public health interests warrant, as well as other useful information for visitors.
