Dr. Cookmeyer earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University, after which she graduated with her medical degree from LSU Medical School in New Orleans. She completed her General Surgery residency at LSU New Orleans, during which she served patients in the areas of New Orleans, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge. Dr. Cookmeyer is a native of Covington, Louisiana and is excited to return to her hometown to provide surgical care to patients in her community.
