Dr. J. Brent Moss was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University for his undergraduate degree and completed medical school at Louisiana Health Science Center in Shreveport, La. He went on to complete his general surgery residency in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Moss joined Northlake Surgical Associates with St. Tammany Health System in 2023 and is board certified in general surgery with a broad scope of practice including elective and acute care surgeries. While not in the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
