Roll up those sleeves, Madisonville.
For the convenience of local residents for whom school or work makes it difficult to schedule a COVID vaccine, St. Tammany Health System has scheduled a Saturday pop-up vaccine clinic for April 10 at its St. Tammany Physicians Network office in Madisonville, 1520 Highway 22.
Vaccines will be distributed from 8 a.m. to noon. Appointments are necessary and should be made via the free MyChart app. Those experiencing difficulty with the app can make an appointment by calling (985) 898-4001, which is answered 24/7, although anticipated heavy call volumes may result in a longer-than-usual wait during peak hours.
STHS also continues to distribute vaccines by appointment every weekday at its Express Care location just south of its Covington Hospital and at its Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion on Highway 1085.
