With the Fourth of July holiday nearing, St. Tammany Health System has announced the following hours for the extended weekend:
Emergency services: All of the health system’s emergency services, including at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington and at our freestanding Emergency Department in Mandeville, are open 24 hours a day every day. As always, they will remain open around the clock through the holiday weekend.Express Care and Express Care Kids: STHS’s Express Care walk-in clinic in Covington (80 Gardenia Drive) and its Express Care Kids clinic in Mandeville (3663 U.S. 190) will both operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Primary care clinics: All traditional St. Tammany Physicians Network primary care clinics will close Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day, reopening Monday, July 6.Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion: Open for normal business on Friday, July 3; closed July 4.Mandeville Diagnostic Center: Open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 3; closed July 4.Women’s Pavilion: Open for normal business on Friday, July 3; closed July 4.Outpatient Rehab: All STHS outpatient rehab facilities will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 3; closed July 4.Other specialty and outpatient clinics: All other STHS specialty and outpatient clinics will be closed Friday in observance of the Fourth of July, reopening Monday, July 6.St. Tammany Health System Pharmacy at Braswell’s: Closed on Saturday, July 4, reopening Sunday, July 5.Employee Pharmacy: The STHS Employee Pharmacy located inside St. Tammany Parish Hospital will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4, returning to normal operating hours on Sunday, July 5.Hospital parking lot shuttle and valet services: Complimentary valet services at St. Tammany Parish Hospital will be suspended Friday through Sunday, July 3 through 5. For the convenience of colleagues and visitors, a single parking lot shuttle will offer service to Lot 7 only from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
