Guild awards $7,500 in fall scholarships to STHS colleagues

Five St. Tammany Health System colleagues received a total of $7,500 in scholarships on Monday (Sept. 30) from the all-volunteer St. Tammany Hospital Guild for fall 2024.

Congratulations to the following, each of whom received a $1,500 scholarship:

Founded in 1955, the St. Tammany Hospital Guild is an all-volunteer organization formed to support the healing work of the care provides at St. Tammany Health System’s flagship St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Today, it boasts nearly 100 members that work throughout the health system in various capacities, including operation of the hospital gift shop.

Every year, the guild awards two rounds of scholarships – one in the spring and another in the fall – in support of STHS colleagues working to advance their medical career.
