Please join us at the Parenting Center located at 21404 Koop Dr., in Mandeville as we hear an excerpt from the new book, Alana & Wyatt's Adventures: The Sully Backpack Surprise, by Dana Garrett and Dr. Sunny McDaniel. It’s about a young girl’s trip to the doctor,

which can feel big… especially when something unexpected happens. When Alana’s AAC device breaks and her foot starts to hurt, everything feels overwhelming. With her brother, Wyatt and his “camping gear,” they take a trip to the doctor’s office.

With the help of a kind doctor and a special Sully Sensory Backpack filled with calming tools and step-by-step guidance, Alana learns what to expect, finds her voice, and bravely moves through her visit.
