The St. Tammany Physicians Network primary care clinic in Folsom will offer Saturday hours on March 7 and 28 in an effort to expand access and offer additional convenience for patients.
The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days and will accept scheduled appointments as well as walk-ins.
While full laboratory and X-ray services will be unavailable during the Saturday hours, point-of-care testing will be offered, allowing care teams to perform certain rapid tests on-site and provide timely results during patient visits.
Saturday hours could become a regular feature at the clinic should patient need and visit volume indicate there is interest.
Patients interested in scheduling an appointment for one of the Saturday clinics can do so by calling (985) 898-4001. Walk-ins will be seen as capacity allows.
The Folsom clinic is part of St. Tammany Physicians Network, the employed medical group of St. Tammany Health System, and provides primary care services to families in and around the Folsom community.
