This 18-month program is specifically designed to expedite the process of earning a BSN for those individuals with non-nursing bachelor's degrees who are interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Are you at a crossroads in your career and feel called to care? This is the perfect opportunity to explore the diverse field of nursing. 

All classes and laboratory/clinical experiences will occur on the Northshore and students will have priority clinical placement at the Health System’s flagship St. Tammany Parish Hospital, where they will learn to care for their community while working closely alongside our health system's experienced nurses. Additionally, students in the program will be eligible to apply for scholarships from St. Tammany Health System’s board and may apply early for competitive nursing positions prior to graduation. 

If you are interested in starting your career in nursing, you must first apply to the University via Southeastern’s admissions website and schedule a meeting with an advisor to ensure you have completed all necessary prerequisites. Once admitted, apply to the nursing program by the deadline. For programs starting in January, the nursing application deadline is September 1st. For programs starting in August, the nursing application deadline is  February 1st.
